Unlike a standard unit or an enclosed VIP cabin, a trailer is towed rather than lifted, which means it needs a route in, a level place to stand, and ideally a hose bib and a 30-amp outlet. Where those conditions exist, nothing else comes close for capacity or for how it feels to walk into. How We Work
Quote on the phone, delivery in two days, weekly service on a fixed day, pickup when you say.
1. Sizing and the site check
We size the trailer against guest count and event length, then check the route in: gate width, turning radius, grade, overhead branches and the ground it will stand on. On venues we do not know, this happens before we confirm.
2. Utilities
A trailer wants a garden hose connection and a 30-amp outlet, and a larger one may want 50-amp. Where the site has neither, we bring a fresh-water tank and a quiet generator and price them in rather than treating it as a surprise.
3. Delivery, leveling and commissioning
Positioned, leveled on jacks and pads, connected, filled, flushed through and checked station by station. On grass or a slope this takes an hour and it is the part that decides whether the doors work all evening.
4. Service and collection
Multi-day rentals get pumped, refilled and restocked at an agreed off-peak time. Collection is the next working day, and it is inside the quoted price on every booking.
Trailer Sizes And What They Need From A Site
The practical detail, which is where most of the decisions actually get made:
Two-station trailers
The workhorse. Two private stations, each with a flushing toilet and a sink, in a trailer small enough to tow down most residential driveways. Comfortably covers a hundred guests over four hours, and it is the size we deliver most often for Marin weddings.
Three and four-station trailers
The step up for two to three hundred guests, usually configured as separate men’s and women’s ends. Longer and heavier, so the access requirements get real: a tight canyon driveway that took a two-station will often not take one of these.
Larger event trailers
Six to ten stations for festivals, large corporate events and public functions. These need genuine truck access and a flat standing area, which in practice means a parking lot, a field edge or a paved drive rather than a lawn.
Power and water requirements
Most trailers run off a standard garden hose and a 30-amp outlet; larger units may need 50-amp service. We confirm during the site check. Off-grid sites take a fresh-water tank and a quiet inverter generator, which is a routine setup on Marin ranch properties.
Setting up on grass, gravel and slopes
Leveling jacks and pads handle a surprising amount of grade, but soft ground after rain is a different matter and can leave a trailer stuck. We ask about the surface during the site check so the right blocks and boards come on the truck.
Accessible stations
A trailer with steps is not accessible, and adding a ramp to one is not always practical. For public events and any guest list including wheelchair users, the reliable answer is a separate ADA-accessible unit on firm level ground nearby.

Long-running commercial jobs sometimes take a trailer for the office and client-facing side while the trades use standard construction porta potties. It is a common split on multifamily developments and it keeps both groups happy.
What A Restroom Trailer Costs
A two-station trailer for a weekend in Marin typically runs $850 to $1,600 delivered, leveled, stocked and collected. Four-station trailers roughly double that, and larger event trailers are quoted per project. What moves it:
- Trailer size. Stations are the main driver, and the jump from two to four is the biggest single step in the price.
- How long you keep it. Daily, weekend and monthly rates all exist. Multi-day events cost less per day than a single Saturday, because the delivery and collection are the same work.

That is the question worth answering before anything else. Trailers are towed, so they need gate width, turning room, manageable grade, overhead clearance and somewhere level to stand. A lot of Marin canyon and hillside properties cannot take one, and on those we deliver enclosed VIP cabins on a flatbed instead.
