How We Work
Quote on the phone, delivery in two days, weekly service on a fixed day, pickup when you say.
1. The quote
We ask four questions: where the site is, how many people will use it, how long you need it, and whether a truck can get within about twenty-five feet of where it will sit. That is enough to give you a flat monthly or event price with the delivery, the servicing and the pickup already inside it.
2. Delivery and placement
The unit arrives upright on a flatbed and gets set where you point, as long as the ground is level and reachable. We stake it on soft or exposed ground so a spring wind does not put it over, and we make sure the door has room to open fully.
3. Weekly service
On a fixed day each week, the truck pumps the tank out, washes the interior down, refills the deodorizer charge, and restocks paper and sanitizer. It takes about ten minutes and nobody needs to be there for it.
4. Pickup
When you are done, one call and it goes. We pump it, load it, and leave the spot clean. If the job runs long instead, you keep it and the monthly rate simply continues.

Every long-term rental includes a weekly visit: waste pumped out, walls and seat washed down and sanitized, fresh deodorizer charged into the tank, toilet paper and hand sanitizer restocked. Sites with heavy use can go to twice weekly, and event units can be serviced overnight mid-event.
Portable toilet pumping
The pump-out is done with a vacuum truck through a hose run from the road. Twenty-five feet of clear access is the practical requirement; beyond that we can extend, but the further the run the more likely a service gets missed on a busy day. This is the single biggest reason to think about placement on day one.
Monthly porta potty rental and long term hire
Anything running past a couple of weeks should be on a monthly rate rather than a stack of weekly ones. Monthly pricing includes four service visits and works out substantially cheaper per day. Most construction rentals in Marin run three to six months on this basis.

What Porta Potty Rental Costs In Marin
A standard unit on a monthly construction rental in Marin County typically runs somewhere around $150 to $250 a month with weekly service included. Weekend event rentals are priced flat, usually $125 to $250 for a single unit delivered Friday and collected Monday. What moves the number:
- How long you keep it. Monthly is much cheaper per day than a weekend rental, because the delivery and pickup are the same work either way and get spread over more days.
- How often it gets serviced. One visit a week is the standard and is included. Twice-weekly service on a heavily used site costs more, and a bi-weekly schedule on a lightly used one costs less.

- How hard it is to reach. A driveway a truck can back into is a normal delivery. A hillside lot needing a smaller truck, a long hose run or a hand-carry takes longer, and the price reflects that.

For long-term rentals, units are serviced once per week: pumped, cleaned and restocked. More frequent servicing is available on request and is worth taking on any site with more than about fifteen people using one unit. Event rentals over a single weekend usually do not need a mid-rental visit.
What does servicing include?
Waste pump-out, interior cleaning and sanitizing, restocking toilet paper, and refilling hand sanitizer. We also recharge the deodorizer in the tank and check the door, the vent and the paper holder while we are there. The whole visit takes about ten minutes and does not need anyone on site.
What happens if a unit gets damaged during my rental?
Renters are typically responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear, and it is worth asking about damage waiver options if the site is unsecured overnight. In practice most damage we see is wind or a reversing truck, and we repair or swap the unit without a fuss. Deliberate vandalism on an open site is the one case where we will have a conversation about it.
How quickly can you deliver in Marin?
One to two business days is normal across the county, and same-day is often possible in San Rafael and the towns nearest our yard if you call in the morning. Event bookings for summer weekends should be made further out, particularly for trailers, because there are only so many of those in the county.
Do I need a permit to put a portable toilet on my property?
On private property, no. A unit placed in the public right of way, which usually means a parking space or a sidewalk, needs an encroachment permit from the town, and requirements vary between San Rafael, Sausalito, Mill Valley and the rest. If your only workable spot is curbside, sort the permit before delivery rather than after a code officer has tagged it.
